4 Bedroom Indian Creek Villa
Holiday Home Description
In the summer of 2007 we were sat outside on the patio of our 3 bedoom villa (next door) sharing a glass of wine (or two) with friends late one evening. They were jokingly complaining that it wasn't good enough that we didn't own the villa next door as they had rented a villa round the corner and it was too far to go home. We joked about providing the villa next door for them but had been unable to sort it out quick enough for them, but also said it was something we would love to buy another a few years in the future. A few days later we came home but they were still on holiday - a few days after that they rang to say the villa next door had gone up for sale....so we decided it was fate and we bought this villa.
We thought this was an opportunity too good to miss as it meant friends and families could travel together without having to be living in each other’s pockets, having their own privacy at the end of the day. Or we could just rent them out as individual properties. So we went ahead and bought the 4 bedroom villa several months/years earlier than planned!
We have already ensured that this 4 bedroom villa is equipped to the very same high standard as the 3 bedroom with many items added new (3 Tvs, PS2, laptop, 2 DVD players, most of the kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware, baby equipment and so on). Finally we added the games room, this time adding a table tennis table (as well as air hockey) so that if both houses are rented together, it gives another choice of games for both families to enjoy.
Having children ourselves, we know that safety is paramount. Therefore, both villas have monitored alarms systems installed, pool fences and alarms on the access doors to the pools for safety.
There are so many things to see and do in the area that it is impossible to list them. Florida is an ideal location for family holidays and for grown-ups who are just big kids! You will cram into your holiday so much, thrills and wonder at the Theme Parks, bargain shopping at the Retail Outlets or enjoy the more luxurious malls, wining and dining at the many restaurants (not just McDonald’s!) or just relaxing by the pool. The entrance hall has bedrooms 2 and 3 off to the left, separated by a bathroom which they share. The bathroom has a vanity basin, toilet and bath with shower over it. These bedrooms are both twin bedded with built in closets, chest of drawers, TV and clock.
To the right of the entrance hall is the garage / games room which has Table Tennis, Air Hockey and a Freerunner type exercise machine. Folloing on also to the right is the utility room where the washing machine and tumble dryer are located.
The hallway then leads to the Dining Area, which has a formal table with extendable panels for larger groups. Off here to the right is bedroom 4 with a 5’ Queen sized bed, built in closet, chest of drawers, TV and clock. Next to this is a bathroom with again a vanity basin, toilet and bath with shower over it.
Following on from the Dining Area is the Living Room. This features a 3 seater queen sofa bed, 2 seater sofa and chair. The entertainment consists of TV with Premium Cable package, DVD player (and small selection of films), music system and a growing library of books.
To the right of the Living Room is the fully equipped kitchen with plenty of storage space and an extensive selection of crockery and utensils. An electric hob and oven, fridge/freezer (including an ice making compartment) and dishwasher are all fitted. At the front of the kitchen is a breakfast nook with a smaller table overlooking the lanai and pool.
Off the Living Room to the left is the Master Bedroom, with 6’ King Sized bed, TV, 2 clocks, telephone point, chest of drawers and large walk in closet. Also off the Master Bedroom is the Master Ensuite Bathroom with 2 vanity basins, large oval bath, separate walk in shower cubicle and toilet. (This bathroom has an access doorway to the pool area so no need to run through the house when wet if you need to use the facilities!).
The pool area and lanai can be accessed from the patio door from the lounge, or door exit from the Master Ensuite Bathroom or the Breakfast Nook. All of these doors have additional alarms on that activate once they have been opened for a few seconds, if required. Outside there is a table and chairs and 6 loungers for enjoying the sun, which we have all day on the pool area as it is a south facing garden. The pool also has a safety fence across the accessway from the house. The entire pool/lanai area is covered by a screen to keep out unwanted bugs but not the sun!
The kitchen, dining area and living room are beautifully bright rooms as they are south facing with skylights in the vaulted ceilings.
The villa is air-conditioned throughout and, in addition, the lounge, Master Bedroom and Queen bedded room all have ceiling fans.
We also provide a travel cot/playpen (including all linen), highchair, pushchair and smaller stroller for your use at no extra charge.
Rentals can be any length, from one night to several weeks!
For stays of 5 nights or less, a cleaning charge of £55 / $95 will be added.
