We have two large fully equipped tents which are ideal if you love camping but don't have space in the car or if you're coming by plane.

There's a living area with table and chairs and two separate bedrooms (each sleep two people) and two extra beds if needed.

We can provide bedding, for a small charge, so when you arrive, just unpack and relax !

The tents have a kitchen area to include a two ring gas stove, electric fridge box, coffee maker/kettle and electric lighting.

In addition, there are saucepans, frying pan, plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses and a range of utensils to prepare your meals; for a full inventory, please click here.

Gas and electric are included in our prices and animals are welcome.

The tents are 6,50m long by 4,20m wide by 2,40m high and have plenty of shade from the trees and the sun canopy at the front.

All pitches have access to plenty of shade, if you need it, and you are never far from that wonderful view of the Château !

Our swimming pool is 10,00m x 5,00m and is the perfect place if you want to cool off on the many long, hot summer days. The pool is open from 10h00 to 21h00 every day.

Our shower block is equipped with toilet, shower and wash basin facilities as well as sinks to wash dishes.

Dordogne Area Information

Hautefort lies in the Périgord Noir, one of four regions in the Périgord (the Dordogne) and is home to many villages nominated as “the most beautiful in France”.

Terrasson is famous for its bridges (some from the 12th century) that connect the low lying new district with the higher old quarter. The market, each week, offers a good selection of fresh produce.

Périgueux (our capital) has more attractions and historic monuments than anywhere in France (except Paris, of course !) The city is on the River Isle and a great place to shop, lunch or for a trip.

The castles at Castelnaud and Beynac nestle on steep cliffs above the Dordogne river and there are palaces like “La Petite Filolie” and “Puymartin” which are all worth a visit.

The Vézère and Dordogne rivers are great places to swim and fish and also offer excellent canoe and kayak opportunities. The river valleys are strewn with caves and archaeological sites.

The walled-in village of Domme is a great place to visit as it has a very impressive gateway building and the 17th century market hall gives access to the caves under the village.

The Parc Natural Perigord-Limousin, founded in 1998, spans the North of the Dordogne and the South of the Haute-Vienne. It showcases the full breadth and wealth of the land.

In addition, there are plenty more beautiful places to explore and discover in this wonderful part of France.
