This lovely villa, designed by a famous Italian Architect and built in late 50s, is a comfortable and relaxing place for enjoying the beauty of nature of Portovenere and famous Poets’ Gulf, that so many artists inspired.
It is located at the entrance of the village, on top of the promontory, mid way on the coastline; it can be easily reached on foot either from above, from Via Garibaldi car parking area, or from the beach level.
L’Agave Marina has a large terraced area shaded by sun umbrellas and a large patio in front of a magnificent large sitting room with wide windows opening on the garden. This part of the villa offers its guests the magnificent show of the sea and of Palmaria Island in front of Portovenere.
Access to the villa from the private and fenced car parking area is through outdoor stairs that lead guests to the main gate of the villa opening on the upper garden.
From upper garden a few steps take us down to the main floor of the property that offers a large sitting and dining room area with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen (with dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and microwave oven), a double/twin bedroom and a bathroom.
Close to Kitchen area we have an indoor staircase that leads us to the lower floor of the villa with 2 twin bedrooms, a double bedroom and 1 bathroom.
From lower floor we have access to another terrace and to a path that takes down to beaches level and Portovenere village.
Close to the villa we can find fully equipped beaches and outdoor swimming pools, while restaurants and stores.
In Summer time the villa is also served by the shuttle buses of Portovenere (GIROBUS), very useful for this who do not love taking stairs on going back from beaches.
Boat can be rented in the village and public boats depart regularly from village pier to reach Lerici, La Spezia, Cinque Terre and Portofino.
Cooking classes or Chef At Home dinners can be organized at the villa.
