Pescia is a medieval town famous for flower and paper production. The town historically fought over by florence and pisa for its strategic position. Its classic piazza if the heart of the town where on saturday you can enjoy the local market selling fresh local breads cheeses veg and fruit etc. There are many bars and good affordable restaurants in the area. Pescia is well served for banks supermarkets and most shops that you'll need during your stay.
The nearby pinnochio theme park in collodi (4 kilometres away) is very popular with kids and families. There are several pay as you fish lakes within a 10 km radius of the house
