Situated among the unspoilt beauty of Cruit Island, this quaint cottage transports you back to a time that is long since gone. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge, which is accessible by car. Cruit is home to dozens of beaches and also the famous Cruit Island Golf Club, which is only a few minutes drive away from the cottage. No booking fee and up to 2 pets are welcome at no extra charge.
Imagine sitting in front of an open turf fire with a glass or two of wine. You can't beat the smell of a real Irish turf fire. Carrickfinn Airport is only 10 minutes drive away and it only takes 40 minutes to fly to Dublin for a day trip. The view from the cottage must be seen to be believed.
Local activities include lake and sea fishing, horse riding, boat trips, angling, watersports, restaurants, mountain climbing and visitor centres. Pets are more than welcome!
