The property lies a three minute walk South along the beach to Mullins Bay and the popular Mullins Beach Bar. The historical town of Speightstown is a short 5 minute drive north. The town offers all the amenities you require including banking, restaurants and shopping, fish market on the seafront, cafes such as Casereep and Orange Street Grocer directly on the beach. Don't miss the Museum and every one's favourite are the fruit and vegetable vendors on the road side. Holetown is a ten minute drive south and offers restaurants, night life, and the new posh Lime Grove for upscale shopping. Be sure to visit St. Nicholas Abbey, in the North part of the Island, where they distil and bottle their own rum and offer wonderful souvenir bottles, then on to famous Bathsheba with a vista of miles of magical beaches and the always rough Atlantic Ocean, surfers paradise.
Royal Westmoorland Golf course is a world class layout and is a private course, the owners of Turtle Reef are members and could sign you in as a members guest. Sandy Lane golf course is a Fazio designed course and is open to the public. In 2009 the world golf championships were held at this venue. Barbados Golf Club is on the South Coast and is open to the public at a reasonable price.
