Holiday Home Description
Totally refurbished throughout in 2011 in a nautical theme this stunning villa has marble flooring throughout, inside and out. Full air con in all the rooms. The Kitchen has a washing machine, dishwasher, full size oven and hob, microwave, george foreman grill and griddle, a new Halogen oven, fridge/freezer, water dispenser and everything else you could possibly need, all new and the best quality! The dining room end of the kitchen has two large patio doors leading to a marbled covered terrace, gated enclosure so you can keep the children away from the pool safely.
All the bedrooms have built in wardrobes, the bunk beds are 3` wide and very comfortable. We have special mattress and pillow protectors on all the beds, egyptian cotton bedding and beautiful towels. There are also plenty of beach towels (please dont` use the house towels).
The terrace is where you will be spending most of your time, dining outside and sitting in the comfortable wicker settee and armchairs, looking over the garden and pool with the mountains and the sea in the distance. The outside shower and barbecue are there for you to use too!
On the ground floor you have a split level lounge with a large flat screen tv with dvd player and satellite. There is a range of games and books to use in the cupboards in the entrance hall. There is also two ground floor bedrooms both with lovely sea views and a ground floor bathroom with shower. The childrens bedroom is fitted out with Laura Ashley on the sea bedding and blinds and there is a huge pirates of the caribbean style mural right across one of the walls.
On the half landing there is the childrens play room, here there is a flat screen TV with wii and playstation plus games for the children and a huge terrace off with spectacular views of the mountains and sea. A great place for the children and gives the adults a bit of peace and quiet!
On the first floor is the master bedroom with its own large wet room, again it has its flat screen tv, dvd and satellite. There is another large terrace on this floor.
There is a huge collection of films, please use them carefully, the same with the wii games and playstation games. There are also lots of pool toys and a full set of golf clubs and a trolley for those who fancy a game of golf.
Outside - the gardens have been recently landscaped with artificial turf, summer house and a host of beautiful plants. There is off road car parking. For small children the marbled outside terrace can is completely safe with gates both ends. The Poppin restaurant is just a minutes walk away and you can get free internet connection there and its a great place for a drink, takeaway and Indian Restuarant.
The overflow pool has lovely sea and mountain views and lots of pool toys in the summer house. Also one full set of golf clubs and a trolley if you want to play some golf.
Dont worry about getting over to the North from the South, everything can easily be arranged through us, Bellepais car hire firm pick you up from the airport and the car is waiting for you at the villa, they are efficient and and rarely not on time! Its all stress free! We are here to help in anyway to make this the best possible holiday. Our english couple who look after the villa Colin and Carole, are always at hand. Note: We also own Sunset villa which is just around the corner, so if you have lots of you together you could rent both at a discount! Sunset villa is not suitable for small children.

Kyrenia Area Information
North Cyprus is around 40 miles from the Turkish mainland and outside the eurozone offering fantastic value. It is a hidden gem brimming with Crusader castles, wildflowers, unspoiled beaches and laidback charm - with an average of 340 days of sunshine a year. Spring flowers including rare wild orchids and cyclament are out in abundance in March/April/May in the quieter turkish side of Cyprus, thats slightly time-warped, but in a good way, without the over-development of many other Mediterranean destinations.
For the children - 8 am every morning in the main season, take a walk to the local marina, just about five minutes across the fields, the local fisherman feeds the huge turtles that come there everyday just to see him and of course he gives them lots of fishy treats.
Also for the children, about 10 mins from the villa is the Acupulco Hotel, its about £6 a day and for that you get a sun bed and umbrella and the use of all their facilities and what facilities they have = amazing pools, biggest I have ever seen, the Jacuzzi is about the size of a pool too and a fantastic beach and beachside restaurant. Spa is great too, loads to do and see. The new Cratos hotel in Kyrenia is absolutely stunning too..............well worth a visit. Dont worry most of all this is in our pdf which we send you.
Here visitors follow in the footsteps of St. Paul to the well-preserved Roman city of Salamis with its stunning beaches, or take in the views from St. hilarion Castle, where Richard the Lionheart is said to have honeymooned.
Most will head to the beautiful ruined 13th century abbey in the ambrosial village of Bellapais,made famous by the writer Lawrence Durrell in his 1957 novel Bitter Lemons of Cyprus.
Kyrenia, is just 25 mins from the villa. Here in the harbour, a horseshoe of converted carob warehouses now house restaurants serving Turkish mezes and kebabs at outdoor tables on the quay - a beguiling scene in the sunshine with colourful fishing boats bobbing alongside.
East of Kyrenia and its Venetian castle, forested hills make way for the slender "panhandle" of land known as the Karpaz Peninsula, a glorious natural wilderness fringed by deserted golden sandy beaches, so spectacular with its pure golden sand and stunning aspect. Karpaz is famously home to 500 wild donkeys and visited in summer by rare loggerhead and green turtles. Peter Lewis brother of John Lewis has built a huge new marina, not yet completed but getting there with shops and restaurants. Boyaz near the Karpaz is also worth visiting and just outside Kyrenia is the wonderful village of Kalaman - please take a trip there and have your lunch in their amazing restaurant, lovely walks but its steep!
At Alagadir beach (just a few minutes drive from the villa) they can be seen from huffing and puffing up the beaches to lay their eggs 40 cm deep in the sand, with hatchlings make their way into the sea from July to September - you can make arrangements at this much protected site to watch the turtles at night laying their eggs, an absolutely unmissable event for all the family (but you must be quiet)!
There are some amazing restaurants near the villa, too many to mention but a trip to Stevies and Joya are a must, plus the new Indian restaurant Jashan and the best chinese food I have ever tasted at the China garden - all details in our villa file!
One of the best golf courses in the Med is just a few minutes drive from the Villa - try one of their special spa packages, coffee etc on arrival, full use of all their superb facilities, full body massage and either lunch or dinner in one of their spectacular dining rooms overlooking the Med and the Trodus mountain range....all for the sum of around £50 each.
There is a new supermarket within a few minutes walk from the villa, , however, the village of Esentepe is a five minute drive away and that has several shops too. There are lots of huge supermarkets on the way to Kyrenia and a fantastic market every Wednesday. Your money goes a long way here.......turkish lira!
