Our villa constructed in 2003 comprises 2078 sq. ft. of living accommodation offering 4 large bedrooms, (master en-suite), a family bathroom, 2 lounges, a large family kitchen with breakfast nook, 2 dining areas and a 30 ft. heated swimming pool with views across a conservation area. Grand Reserve is a mixed residential and holiday villa development. As a consequence it is likely that you will not just be meeting other holiday makers but resident Americans whom we consider our second set of neighbours.
The villa accommodates up to 8 persons in 4 large bedrooms. The accommodation is arranged as 2 doubles and 2 twin rooms. The villa could therefore easily be shared by 2 family groups or provide plenty of space for a couple or a small group who prefer their own space.
When first entering the villa you will move into a formal lounge and dining area. Both of these areas are situated away from the family room and pool and provide the perfect place to entertain and relax in comfort. These areas also provide opportunities for those of you in larger parties to enjoy your own space should you wish to do so.
The dining area provides an elegant setting for those clients who enjoy a quiet dinner and is the perfect spot for formal dining. The area is also the main dining area where families and friends can talk over the day's sight seeing and discuss next day's agenda.
The table is usually laid for six people but will easily seat eight so, pull up a chair from the kitchen area and "bon appetite".
Moving through to the main accommodation of the villa you enter the kitchen and breakfast nook. This is a large and spacious area and is fully equipped for your stay. The kitchen has a 30" wide cooking range incorporating a ceramic hob, a microwave, a fridge/freezer complete with ice maker, a toaster, coffee maker, blender and kettle. There is ample cutlery, cooking utensils, crockery and glassware etc. for the full occupancy and when you have eaten your fill the dishwasher will take care of the dishes whilst you relax. There is also a large size washing machine and dryer together with an iron and ironing board if you need to do some washing during your stay.
Our large family room overlooks the pool and sun deck with a conservation area and lake beyond. Two large settees, a coffee table and bar stools provide the perfect place to relax and watch the 32" cable television. We have also recently added a DVD/video player so you can watch a movie together. The large patio doors open out on to the sun deck/pool and provide access to the garden.
There is a phone in the villa and our package includes free US calls and high speed, wired, internet access using your own laptop.
Our spacious master bedroom has built in wardrobes with ample room to store your clothes and cases. There is an American king size bed (huge!), and a remote controlled cable TV/VCR. This room also overlooks the pool and conservation area. The room is on the other side of the house from the other three bedrooms, so allowing a degree of privacy for two groups sharing the villa.
The second double bedroom has ample storage. There are ample built in and freestanding cupboards which will cater for the largest Micky Mouse that the children can carry and all of those shopping bargains that you just could not resist. This room also has a cable TV/VCR and uninterrupted views across the conservation area to the rear of the villa.
The first twin room is tastefully arranged with tropical bedding and would be suitable for both adults and children. As with all of our bedrooms there is a built in wardrobe and a bedside cabinet. This room also has a television and integrated VCR. For your comfort you will find a change of bed linen provided in each of our bedrooms plus ample towels including pool towels for use during your stay.
Our second twin bedroom provides the ideal place for two children or those of you who are young at heart. The pictures are of Disney's Little Mermaid theme and with no TV it's the ideal space for those worn out little ones to settle down for the night or could equally become a quiet room for adults wanting to read or relax.
There is also a travel cot with linen and a high chair in the villa if you are traveling with a small child.
Outside in the gardens of the villa there is a 30' heated and screened pool with views out over the wildlife conservation area and lake. For your comfort the pool is checked and serviced weekly. Pool heating is included in our price; an important consideration when comparing our prices with other villas!
