This well appointed wheelchair friendly apartment (60 m² approx) sleeps up to 5 and is 4 minutes drive from the popular town of Carnac in southern Brittany. The living area includes an open plan kitchen/lounge-diner, separate bedroom (sleeps 3) plus combined shower/toilet room.
Fully equipped kitchenette area includes, sink, gas/electric hob, toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge freezer. Dining table and 6 chairs provided (baby high chairs not provided). Sofa Bed in lounge (sleeps 2).
DVD player and LCD screen available for indoor entertainment.
Bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed. All bed linen provided. Bunk beds or single folding bed also available on request. Large outside garden with BBQ and dining furniture. Room cleaning service available on request.
Good parking.
Apartment opens out onto large gardens (very young children need to be supervised) with a small stream and water source.
Charcoal BBQ plus outside furniture for 6 also provided.
A welcome pack will be provided containing: Milk. Eggs. Local cider. Bottle of water. Bottle of wine. Local organic produce. Also provided Regional map. Information on local facilities. Information on places to visit. Current owners have lived in the area for many years and are very happy to suggest places to visit.
A second equally well apointed apartment also available within 20 metres of main apartment - also with 1 bedroom, lounge diner / kitchenette and bathroom. Comfortably sleeps 3 in main bedroom but possibility of another bed in living area.
We also offer bed and breakfast for those wishing to pass through on their way further south - a great stopping off point within 5 minutes of the motorway.

Carnac Stones: The world famous Carnac Stones are a huge tourist attraction, with visitors coming from all over the world.The stones are an exceptionally dense collection of megalithic sites around the area, consisting of alignments, dolmens, tumuli and single menhirs. More than 3,000 prehistoric standing stones were hewn from local rock and erected by the pre-Celtic people of Brittany, and are the largest such collection in the world. The very impressive Carnac Stones Museum which is well worth a visit and guided tours can also be arranged.
Beautiful beaches: Carnac's south facing beaches are all sheltered, benefiting from the areas micro-climate.They are rightly recognized as some of the best beaches in France and any are well worth a visit. From the very busy Grand Plage round to the more secluded northern end of Saint Colomban, there is something to offer everyone. They include: La Grande Plage. Men Du. Beaumer. Légénèse. Ty Bihan. Saint Colomban. Slightly further afield there are more beautiful sandy beaches both towards Quiberon to the west and Loqmariaquer to the east.
