Casa D'el Petirrojo is a beautiful spacious 5 bedroom villa overlooking a gorge with mature woodland. It also has unspoilt sea views from its elevated position. It is tastefully furnished and equipped to a very high standard. It has been been made as family/child friendly as possible. It has its own secluded private pool. Binibeca beach, shops and restaurants are within 10 mins walk and the town of Mahon is a 15 min drive. It easily accommodates 10 people.
Through the entrance hall is the main family sitting room (with beautiful sea and country views) with a wood burning stove, English Satelite TV, video, DVD and a music centre; a sunny dining area and a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher included). Also on this floor is a double bedroom with full bathroom opposite and a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. From the entrance hall are stairs with a wooden stair gate leading to the middle level. A laundry room sits on a mezzanine level with its own tiled patio.
On the middle level is a second lounge with English Satelite TV, video and DVD. Through a second door are two twin bedrooms and the new family bathroom, which has a bath and overhead shower and heated towel rail. Continuing down a few more steps is the king size master bedroom with large French windows that open onto a private tiled patio with sea views. There is a new chic ensuite shower room. All the bedrooms have built in cupboards and drawer space.
There is a magnificent, large, secluded swimming pool with Roman steps to one end and discrete safety rails all around it. The pool area is secured with a wooden safety gate. This is entirely private and has lovely sea views. There is a pool-side shower and built-in BBQ. The mature gardens are colourful, with palm trees, bougainvilleas and hibiscus covering the walls of the terraces and stone walls and there are fabulous views over the wooded gorge out to sea.
There are ceiling fans in all the bedrooms, upper lounge and dining area. The master bedroom however has side fans due to ceiling height restrictions. The furnishings are to a very high standard and continuously replaced. All the bedrooms have colour co-ordinated fabrics and additional mosquito net inner windows. There are beautiful paintings and prints throughout.
We have made the villa as child friendly as possible. The pool is gated and there is a stair gate at the top of the stairs. We also supply free of charge:
