Luxurious, chic property, stylishly designed by internationally famous artist with a huge lap pool. Set amongst organic olive groves and stunning countryside. Inside the house has a cool stylish finish. It blends the old with the new. A beautiful sitting room, with antique afghan rugs, original works of art, huge windows overlooking the outside terrace with its marble dining table. A fully equipped modern kitchen. The bedrooms are stylishly finished with two chic bathrooms. The 18m lap pool is overlooked by scented oleanders and olive trees and has its own pool house perfect for relaxing and watching the incredible sunsets. To the front of the property is a further terrace and dining area adjacent to a pergola covered with grape vines and wisteria, overlooked by the floodlit ancient castle. It has air conditioning throughout, an open fireplace, flat screen TV and high speed WiFi. Private yoga classes can be arranged at the house. All set within 4 hectares of terraced olives.

All guests will be met with a hamper including a large box of locally grown organic vegetables and fruit. During your stay we can arrange for you to have yoga lessons .Guided walks, wildlife tours and even bush craft lessons. The owner of the house is a fully qualified yoga teacher with over 20 years experience of yoga practice. The yoga classes will leave you feeling completely rejuvenated and deeply relaxed. The wildlife tours will be led by an ecologist with 20 years experience of teaching nature and wilderness survival, having worked with Ray Mears . In addition, we can supply a five course Indian banquet for you on one of the evenings to be enjoyed under the stunning desert stars on one of the terraces. We can arrange for you to go on a riding excursion into the desert, traveling past wild ravines, and the old film sets. Or if you prefer a more modern approach 4×4 tours into the desert.

The owner's studio adjoins the property separate to the house where she has a small apartment and is available for any help. Travel: The house 25 minutes from Almeria International Airport, which is well served by flights from London and Manchester, as well as a number of regional UK airports. At the airport there are a number of well known car hire companies, as well as local ones. We can advise on these if given sufficient notice. Inland Almeria Area Information

Tabernas is one of Europe’s most stunning wild locations. The house is situated on the edge of a National Park, containing Europe’s only desert. This is a place of wild ravines and stunning vistas. It serves as the location for many famous films and music videos, Indiana Jones and Spaghetti Westerns to name but two. There are many incredible walks to be had within the desert. You are surrounded by mountains, ancient olive groves studded with beautiful wild flowers. These can be explored on foot, by 4x4 tours or by horse. 30 minutes away from one of Spain’s last unspoilt coastlines, the Cabo de Gato National Park has many fabulous virgin beaches and whitewashed villages in tiny bays. 25 minutes away is Almeria the regional capital. A city that has managed to preserve its Moorish heritage. With its beautiful castle, winding streets, cafes, authentic tapas bars and plenty of shopping. It has two recently opened modern art and photographic museums and a thriving flamenco scene.

Almeria is one of Spain’s hidden jewels. A stunning coastline along the Costa Almeria, wild mountains, picturesque white villages, stunning local cuisine and a wealth of culture and night-life. You are just a short distance from world famous film sets, where Lawrence of Arabia, Indiana Jones, The Good, the Bad and the Ugly and other Spaghetti Westerns were filmed. All of which can be visited. A 30 minute drive will take you to some of Spain’s most beautiful and unspoilt beaches located in a national park filled with wild flowers and birds. The house is 30 and 40 minutes away from the regional capital Almeria and the stunning hilltop village of Mojacar. A little further and you will reach the classic Andalucian cities of Granada and Cordoba, home to the famous Alhambra Palace and the Moorish Mesquita, two of the most beautiful buildings in the world. For the more adventurous, great golf courses are just half an hour away, and horse riding and mountain biking tours can be arranged.
