Casa Poppyanna, Caleta de Fuste

Holiday Home Description

Casa Poppyanna is a luxury 2 bedroom bungalow, sleeping up to 5 people, situated in Caleta de Fuste on the prestigious Fuerteventura Golf Resort in the Canary Islands. You are just a short walk away from the golf clubhouse which is part of the 5 star Elba Golf Palace Hotel. We have made our bungalow a real home from home and made sure that all the amenities you would expect are there. There is a TV with digital Freeview, CD and DVD player in the bungalow and we have a selection of DVD’s and CD’s for your use. Please feel free to bring any of your own with you. It has a fully fitted modern kitchen which is well equipped for self-catering with pots, pans, microwave, oven, hob, fridge freezer and a washing machine in the attached utility room. There are two bedrooms, one double and one with twin beds. Both have ample wardrobe space. There is an iron and ironing board in the bungalow as well as a hair dryer. There is also a sunny veranda with table and chairs and more sunbeds. All linen and towels (except beach towels) are included. The bungalow benefits from all-day sunshine on the terrace to the front and the gardens have been beautifully planted. For those looking to cool down there is a large heated communal pool a few steps away. The main town of Caleta De Fuste with its beautiful beaches and friendly bars and restaurants is only a short distance away. There is a complimentary bus service running from the golf resort throughout the day until 10pm. We would love to welcome you to our holiday home and whether you enjoy partaking in sporting activities or relaxing in idyllic surroundings, Fuerteventura Golf Resort is definitely the place for you. Airport transfer time is approximately 15 minutes.

Caleta de Fuste Area Description

Caleta de Fuste lies in the centre of the island's east coast, on a sweeping horse-shoe shaped bay protected by a breakwater making it an ideal and safe location for young children. The crystal clear waters and fine white sand make it a perfect setting for family beach holidays.

Caleta is Spanish for cove and Fuste is a type of fishing boat. The town is also sometimes called Castillo because of the castle close to the harbour.

The large beach has been created from pale golden sand that was brought in especially for the purpose. There are 3 main areas, the central town of Caleta, Nuevo Horizonte in the North and Chipmunk Mountain to the East (not really a mountain, but it is uphill).

The resort has been developed in such a way that it is enjoyed by families and others who appreciate a safe, relaxing holiday in a friendly environment.

Out and about

Down to the south of the Island are the gorgeous beaches at Morre Jable/Jandia.

The zoo in Costa Calma is also a really enjoyable day out. The sea lion show is not to be missed and great for kids. Try a camel safari here!

Up to the north of the island is Correlojo which is a much bigger resort. The beach is not as good here but the sand dunes before you get into Correlojo are fantastic. Definitely worth a visit.

The west of the island has the ship wreck of an american boat that is well worth a visit!
