This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage, simply furnished, but with all the necessities in a beautiful Lakeside resort situated in the heart of South Charente. There are several Classic Cottages on site, the availability calendar is marked as booked only when ALL of them are booked out. The cottage is one of 80 homes scattered over 45 hectares surrounding the Brossac Lake. The guests of the homes share the large pool which was just renovated in 2011 (open 15 june to 15 september). Each home has a garden plot of at least 700m² making the park spacious and peaceful.
The cottage features a covered terrace with table and chairs, a fully equipped kitchen, with 4 ring gas hob and oven, refrigerator with freezer section, microwave, coffee maker, dishes and cookware for 8 people. The sitting area offers a covertible sofa (opens to a 140x190cm bed) with basic french satellite TV, this is open to the dining area with a large country style table for up to 8. There is even a working open fireplace for early spring and late autumn visitors. One bedroom has either a double bed, or 2 twin beds, the other bedroom has either 2 sets of bunk beds or 1 set of bunk beds plus a single bed with a 2nd pull out bed beneath it. The bathroom features a large shower with a separate WC.
On the lakeshore you will find all the resort services: lifeguard on duty in the summer afternoons for lake swimming, sandy beach with FREE play area, mini golf and bouncy castle as well as a trampoline*, terrace bar, kayak rentals*, bicycle rentals*, reception, bar, restaurant, and especially a full indoor leisure centre "Clubhouse & Spa".
The Clubhouse & Spa is open all year to the public and is the base for all the onsite activities for park guests. There is a heated indoor 20m pool; jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, fitness area, fitness classes, squash court, fast food restaurant& bar.
The Clubhouse & Spa also provides guest services to park residents and organises a full summer activity schedule including: sport tournaments (volleyball, football, badminton, croquet), artistic workshops for all ages, hikes and bike rides in groups, theme nights with meals, and more!
