Holiday Home Description
The Dom Pedro Portobelo is a modern apartment hotel overlooking the ocean, 300 metres from the Vilamoura Marina and a sandy beach. On-site restaurant, bar and large pool. Full use of all the facilities in the adjoining Dom Pedro Golf, and Dom Pedro Marine hotels. Fantastic range of bars, restaurants and shops in the Marina.
This one bedroom apartment can sleep up to 6 people, with two double sofa beds in the spacious lounge.
There is a dining area and the kitchenette is fully equipped. There are a number of food stores within a 2 minute walk.
All bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery and glassware are provided and the room is serviced and cleaned once a week.
The apartment is air-conditioned, with terracotta floors, a safe and satellite TV. The large balcony overlooks the pool and has a table and chairs.
A 300 metre walk takes you into the heart of the Vilamoura Marina, with its vibrant mix of bars, restaurants and shops - and a lovely sandy beach.
There is parking on site.
Golf courses abound in Vilamoura, all within a short distance from the apartment. There are also water sports, horse riding and boating activities nearby.
Faro airport is 15 miles away which takes about 25 minutes by road.
Prices are based on the apartment. No minimum occupancy, maximum occupancy is six people.
No meals, drinks or activities are included.
The apartment is available for three weeks in June each year. Sunday to Sunday arrival and departure dates.
Prices are competitive and much lower than booking direct with the resort.
Confirmation of the final booking will be made once the final payment has cleared. Travel details from the airport will then be forwarded, together with information on parking, checking in etc.

The main beach is an impressively long and broad stretch of sand backed by low cliffs. For a less developed Vilamoura beach try Marina Beach, which runs into the neighbouring resort of Quartiera. Vilamoura beach is linked with Quartiera beach by regular buses and a mini-train service.
There is plenty to keep you entertained. Visitors to Vilamoura can sample a range of restaurants serving Portuguese and international food, and plenty of cafes and bars.
There is a broad range of entertainment, with a cinema, live music, several discos and one famous and truly immense nightclub on the road to Albufeira.
No Vilamoura holiday is complete without a night out at the casino or an afternoon in the local waterparks.
The woodland and open farmland around Vilamoura is ideal for cycling and horse riding. There are also roman ruins, the old church at Almancil and the pretty inland town of Loulé with its castle and fine weekly market. Excursions visit fishing villages and inland hill villages

The Beaches
A major holiday draw is the beautiful beaches in Vilamoura. You can choose from the blue flagged, sandy beach of Falesia that stretches for around 10km or head to the Marina Beach. Both beaches are popular with water sports enthusiasts and there are also ample restaurants and cafes surrounding the beach areas.
Golf
Golfers will be in heaven with the golf facilities in Vilamoura and the surrounding area. The climate and scenery add to the golfing pleasure and famous courses include the Vilamoura Old Course, Vila Sol and the Pinhal Golf Course. With its numerous lakes and water traps the Laguna Golf course is one not to be missed.
Boat Trips
Boat trips in Vilamoura are well catered for from the charming marina area. You can take a full day cruise including lunch for a very low price and the spectacular views are well worth getting up early for.
