The cottages are situated in the beautiful Hartland Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty within North Devon having dramatic coastline, scenery and walks around and along the South West Coast Path with an abundance of rare flora and fauna, beautiful secluded beaches and stunning dark starlit skies. Not far from the near towns of Bideford and Bude and just 5 miles (by car) from the quaint village of Clovelly or a more energetic walk along the South West Coast Path.
In an idyllic rural position with expansive countryside views and to the sea beyond, the cottages have been stylishly converted from period stone barns dating back to Medieval times.
Set on a thriving small holding where the owners rear a selection of livestock they also boast a play area and shared sauna and spa facilities.
The local area has been popular with filmmakers due to its timeless nature and fantastic scenery, recently King Arthur, Sense & Sensibility to name but two.
Cheristow is perfect for that get away from it all break with car free walks in many directions. It is also an ideal base to visit the many attractions that North Devon and Cornwall have to offer.
The village of Hartland is within walking distance through ancient woods and offers a variety of shops and services including craft, pubs, general stores/off licence, fish and chips, doctors, vets.
