Our house provides a very relaxing home from home: a fully equipped modern kitchen with a dish-washer and a washing-machine, a spacious dinning room with a fire-place and French doors leading to a sun drenched patio. The large lounge with an original fireplace at its heart has a TV with all the main UK channels. The five bedrooms (3 double, 1 twin, 1 single) together with three bathrooms offer spacious accommodation for up to 9 people.

Bed linen is included. Free broadband Internet access via Ethernet or WiFi. We have a no smoking and no pets rule, sorry.

Why not unwind with a glass of the local tipple after a candle lit dinner under the palm tree on the patio that opens into a private walled south-facing garden. The large swimming-pool (10x5m) with a counter-current is tucked away just behind the wall.

The front courtyard provides privacy and safe parking under the barn for your car as well as for 8 bicycles which are at your disposal. A games room in one of the outbuildings houses a ping-pong table, a croquet set, a badminton set and boules.

Driving south from the ferries (compare prices and schedules at affery.com or at ferryonline.co.uk) or from Eurotunnel takes between 4 to 7 hours depending on the crossing as well as on your driving. The closest port is St. Malo.

We usually drive from London via Eurotunnel; the journey from Calais takes us on average 6.5 hours.
