Our 2 bed 2 bath condo sits right on the (7 mile long) quiet end of south Fort Myers Beach. (Not to be confused with the town of Fort Myers some 20 miles away) It really is paradise.
Welcome to our 2nd home of 1007 sq ft, here in sunny Florida. We have had this lovely condo since May 08, and visit twice a year, generally remodelling something whilst there (just about done now). Our guests so far have loved it and have all rebooked. Many UK guests find it a help to pay in sterling for their holiday, but we also have a US account, so either is acceptable. We are more than happy to chat on the phone with prospective guests and give them more information.
Imagine that first cuppa when you get up, sitting on the balcony and just watching the dolphins playing right in front of you !!
If you don't want to hire a car then it can be done quite easily.
Right outside the property the trollee bus picks up all along the beach from Bonita Springs shops to the north end of the beach, all for 50 cents return. It runs from early morning until late evening. It will also take you to the stop for the bus to the airport, all for $1.25.
You can also rent bicycles, motor scooters/bikes,you can go wind surfing, golfing (18 hole course across the street) up the beach. There are gyms, health clubs, boating from the wonderful marina(across the street). The peaceful beach offers you 7 miles of fabulous white sand to walk along.
Are you a shopper ?? What woman isn't !! There are so many fabulous outlet malls within a ten mile radius. Shop till you drop. Also Publix supermarket is just a short drive ( or trollee ride) two miles along the beach. There are lots of restaurants and little shops/post office across the street by the marina.
The marina itself is really charming, you can stroll around the boardwalks and watch the wonderful manattee, ducks, dolphins, osprey and pelicans, all of which use the marina. The beautiful boats sit in the water right next to you. Take the weight off your feet, close your eyes and just imagine !!!
