Holiday Home Description
Gutschow House was built in 1895 and it is the only house in the southern Friedrichstraße that 100% survived the 2nd World War.
A Palatial room, 65 sqm (78 square yards) wide and 4m (4.5 yards) high in a 120 square meter bright, quiet and comfortable luxury downtown apartment situated on the 2nd floor of the house is just one part of our Berlin vivid past and present that you can experience. We call it MyBerlinStyle.
The apartment was ecologically renovated in August 2009 and has high-quality furnishings. 3 bright, spacious rooms fully equipped, 2 separate bedrooms, large hallway and modern shower room. In the living room is a massive oak dining table for 6 people, kitchen from massive beech, sofa, LCD-TV, HiFi, DVD, Wireless Hi-Speed DSL (32MB download, 2MB upload ). Kitchen equipped with ceramic stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, kettle, egg cooker, cutlery and high-quality designer pots. All walls painted with organic paint. Parquet floor is maintained with organic wax.
The rates include 7% local tax (VAT) and are in an occupancy of 1 to 2 people. Half of the rental due immediately as confirmation of the reservation. Full amount due 30 days prior to arrival. Minimum stay 2 nights. Children under 7 years old free, age 7 to 18 years 50%.
For each more person will be charged an additional 20 Euro per night. Cleaning: 40 Euro by occupancy of two. Additional heating charge of 10 Euro per day from November until April. Costs for electricity (0.30 EUR per kWh) and water (6.50 EUR per cubic meter) will be charged on (prices subject to change).
On request: baby bed, baby chair, babysitting services, bicycle rental and shopping service.
Damage Deposit: 250 Euro
Cancellations
We want to give you as much flexibility as possible. Therefore bookings can be cancelled or changed at anytime. A full refund minus 20 Euro will be made only if somebody else will book the dates you cancelled, otherwise the booking dates can be changed with available ones, but no refund can be made. For unavoidable circumstances we advice you to make a travel insurance. But even without insurance: you will not lose your money if you can choose other free dates.
Please note we have a non smoking policy,there is no disabled access and no elevator.
The owners speaks fluent English,German,Chinese,Russian,Romanian and Georgian.
