Quinta do Lago - Vale do Lobo Area Information

Lakeside Village borders the beautiful natural saltwater lake at the south western end of Quinta do Lago. This luxurious built 25-acre development is a mixture of apartments and villas, the whole village in a style of architecture reflecting the Portuguese influence.

There is a large swimming pool and a seperate children's pool in the central plaza by the lake. Residents have use of two floodlit tennis courts (small supplement payable) and receive preferential rates on the Quinta do Lago golf courses.

On the far side of the lake, the Quinta do Lago Watersport Centre hires out (seasonal) non-motorised craft such as pedalos, windsurf boards and sailing dinghies; a fishing centre is nearby together with an excellent restaurant specialising in fresh fish and seafood. A riding centre is close by where you can ride out of have lessons. Car hire is advisable.

The long golden beach is nearby over the picturesque bridge crossing th Ria Formosa reserve.
