This holiday accommodation is a jewel of Andalucian architecture dating back to 1492, is set deep in the heart of the Spanish hinterland near Otivar on the costa Tropical between the coast (1/2 hour's drive) and Granada (1 hour's drive).
This mansion rental has been Painstakingly restored into an outstanding country residence easily able to accomodate up to 32 guests. (The average group size is usually about 12 to 20 persons.)
The property is ideal for the larger family holiday with friends. It can also be an exclusive venue for that special wedding in our own private chapel with a reception al fresco afterwards in the Moorish gardens.
Although a large holiday villa it is also an ideal location for small business conferences and workshops or as a base for special interest groups (artists, yoga, clubs, film schools etc.).
All bedrooms have their own bathrooms.
This rental property comprises the mansion where most of the accommodation is located, 2 separate cottages with three twin bedrooms( with ensuite shower /bathrooms), spacious ornamental gardens, private chapel, tennis court, several large terraces, outside summer bar/eating area, 30ft spring fed swimming pool (heating optional for winter/autumn use), all surrounded by magnificent unspoilt views of the hillside and valley.
Entry to the property is electronically controlled, guaranteeing privacy at all times.

Located at the end of a scenic Tropical Valley. The Mansion is set in a private, quiet and peaceful setting totally away from the hustle and bustle of the coast and nearest towns.
Based inland it is only a short drive to the coast at Almunecar .

The Palacete de Cazulas is a convenient base from which to explore the area or undertake organized sporting or cultural activities.
For sightseeing there is Granada with its dramatic Alhambra Palace (1 hour), the ski resort of Sol y Nieve in the Sierra Nevada (1 hours) or the Alpujarra mountains. These are just a few of the numerous attractions that lie within an easy drive from the property.
Those interested in more active pursuits will find a huge choice of local sports, from deep sea diving on the coast to hangliding in the mountains. There are also specialist activities such as canyoning , waterfall cascading and paragliding. In addition there are 4 wheel drive countryside tours , quad bike rental and mountain biking .
Nearby excursions include the cave systems at Nerja which are amazing . The troglodite caves of Guadix .The olive groves of Jaen .The superlative cities of Cordoba and Seville are also easily accessible from this part of Andalucia We have our own excursion minibus with driver for those keen to enjoy and explore more of the surrounding areas .Acccess toi this part of the spanish mainland is easy with an airport in Granada and the international airport of Malaga which flies to most of Europe and also the USA and South America.
The city of Malaga which was the birthplace of Picasso now boasts an interesting museum devoted to his work and life .
