Kilmore Quay is 14 miles southwest of Rosslare on Forlorn Point. It is a charming small fishing village with thatched and whitewashed seaside cottages. It is possible to visit the uninhabited Saltee Islands from here, very popular with birdwatchers. The islands are directly on an important migratory routes for birds travelling to the breeding or wintering grounds.
The village is also renowned for its seafood cuisine and traditional pubs.
There are a number of beautiful gardens to visit and the large nearby town of Wexford has all the shops and amenities you cold require, along with a Farmer's Market every Friday morning.
