Shepherd’s Cottage sleeps 4/6 people and is set in beautiful countryside with stunning views up to the Moorfoot Hills. Arniston Estate has four holiday properties available to rent. Nearby there is Vogrie Country Park, Rosslyn Chapel, Temple Village, The Scottish Mining Museum and, for biking enthusiasts, Glentress Biking Trails all within easy access. Local pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops are all a short drive away. An 14 mile trip to Edinburgh’s first class art galleries and museums, the capital’s eclectic mix of restaurants and bars plus its boutique shopping experience all adds up to a great day out. Alternatively fishing, shooting, estate tours or a private tour of the house can be booked on request.

Bathrooms: Family bathroom with shower over bath, wash hand basin and WC.
Kitchen: Fully fitted contemporary kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher.Kitchen forms open plan space with the sitting room.
Utility Room: Washing machine, drying rack, ironing board.
Living Rooms: Sitting room with woodburning stove, TV, DVD player and dining table. One sofa and one double sofa bed.
Bedlinen and towels are included in the price. Property cleaned on guest departure.
Cot and high chair available on request.
Fishing, horse-riding or estate tours available on request.
Unfortunately no pets are allowed.
Outside Sheperd's Cottage is a large private garden with picnic table. Three local golf courses are within a 10 minute drive of the property and Hillend dry ski slope is only 15 minutes away by car too. Shepherd's Cottage is within easy each of all essential local amenities such as a Tesco supermarket, restaurants and play-parks.
Deposit of 25% required upon booking. Balance required 2 weeks before date of arrival.
