Faliraki in a nutshell..
Faliraki is blessed with a 6 km stretch of golden sand - one of the best beaches on the island. As a resort, Faliraki has rediscovered itself as a cosmopolitan, vibrating centre of tourism catering to all age groups.
Faliraki boats the largest water park in Europe, a state-of-the-art bowling park, an extraordinary amusement park and a fully air-conditioned fun park for families with younger children. For the lovers of extreme sports there are the "Sling-Shot", Bungee and "Sky Surfer".
The centre is a focal point with pulsating bars and clubs, however, surrounding this area, there is a hudge selection of enterprises offering something for everyone: In the town, as well as the Greek cuisine you can find Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Italian and British cuisine, too. Along the beach there are taverns, bars and restaurants and on the beach itself you will find numerous watersport stations providing thrills for the timid and daring like!
The pituresque fishing harbour of St. Apostolos is a hub of morning fish activity as the fishing boats unload their catch, the day cruises (direct to Symi, Lindos and Rhodes town) and the locals congregate for coffee... Late afternoon may well see the excitement of a wedding or two, as St. Apostolos is also preferred venue for civil wedding ceremonies
