Set in manicured gardens this is an apartment for those who enjoy their comforts while having a peaceful holiday. The complex is small so the large pool area never feels crowded and children can have fun in the paddling pool.
The apartment is fully air conditioned, has 2 large bedrooms and is furnished in a contemporary style to compliment the cream marble/oak flooring. One of the bedrooms is en suite with a walk in rain-maker shower, toilet, and sink with vanity unit.
The other bedroom has use of the large bathroom,with a jacuzzi bath, shower, toilet bidet and sink with vanity unit. Both bedrooms have orthopaedic zip and link beds which can be configured as king size or singles depending on your needs and an extra z bed is available which can be put up in either bedroom or the living room.
The small garden at the front has table and chairs and leads into the communal gardens. It is perfect for summer holidays with friends or family.

The apartment has cream marble/oak floors throughout and is fully air-conditioned. There is a spacious living room with 2 leather sofas, a flat screen TV with DVD/Video player and SKY TV with all the free to air channels.Bring your own SKY card if you have one. There is a CD player with an iPod docking station. Sliding glass doors lead onto the garden patio overlooking the landscaped gardens. There is a large dining table which can extend to seat 8 people.
Another glass sliding door leads to the kitchen which is very large and fully equipped from a food processor right down to a hachoir set for chopping your herbs. There is a multi function cooker, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer drier and 2 sinks. The kitchen units are wooden while the counter tops are natural stone. There is a full selection of pot and pans including a wok and plenty of crockery, cutlery and glasses. A glass door leads from the kitchen and also from the living room into the inner courtyard details below.
A long hallway leads down to the bedrooms which are both air-conditioned.
Both of the bedrooms have polished oak floors. There are bedside tables and lamps and luxurious headboards for comfortable reading. The beds have orthopaedic mattresses and are zip and link so can be configured as a Super King or 2 singles. Both beds have luxurious throws and cushions. There are two built in wardrobes in each room including drawer space.
There are large mirrors and the Master bedroom has a wall safe. Sliding doors lead from the bedrooms to a narrow balcony which can be shaded with a manual awning-there is a small table and chairs to enjoy a cup of coffee or a sun downer. Both bedrooms have remote controlled air conditioning units. The bed linen and pillows are high quality and there are extra pillows available. There are electric shutters on the windows which can be lowered to darken the bedrooms. The extra bed available is a fold up bed 90x180cms probably best suited to children/teenager, it can be placed in either bedroom.
There is an en suite bathroom off the Master bedroom. It has cream tiles, a walk in rain-maker shower, toilet, and plenty of storage space in the vanity unit including a hair-dryer. The second bathroom is the large family bathroom. There are beautiful mosaic tiles, a jacuzzi bath, shower over the bath, toilet, bidet and plenty of storage space in the vanity unit including a shaver socket. Both bathrooms use Jacob Delafon bathroom ceramics and HansGrohe fittings.
Further details outdoors:
The apartment is all on one level but to access it you must climb 8 steps in the garden of the complex therefore may not be suitable for some elderly people who have difficulty with steps. There are also a flight of steps on the way to town which would make it unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
We don't mind smokers renting providing they smoke outside on the balcony, in the garden or in the inner courtyard, there is an ashtray provided.
The inner courtyard has a table and chairs and is a peaceful area to have a meal or escape from the heat of the day and have a quiet read. There is a gas fired BBQ in the courtyard to cook your favourite fish or steak. With candles lighting at night it is a very atmospheric place to eat.
The large pool is set in the landscaped gardens and there is also a spacious deck for sunbathing.There is a shallow pool suitable for small children.Overlooking this pool is an enclosed sunroom which will be furnished with tables and chairs this summer. There is also a fenced in area in the garden which will have a small children's playground - but as yet the equipment has not been installed.
To walk to Tavira town you must descend a flight of steps to the riverside - from there it is a flat walk to town - for this reason we have said the apartment is unsuitable for the elderly/infirm - however if you have a car you can drive in 2 mins to a free car park and from there it is a flat 5 min walk to the centre of Tavira.
