There's a large kitchen with washing /machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and a CD/radio. A large wood-burning fire provides heat when necessary and there's a good-sized table and chairs. The stable door opens onto the gardens and a patio with table, chairs and barbecue. The comfortable lounge has a wood burner set in a bread-oven, a three-piece suite, the sofa converting into a double bed. A very spacious bathroom with large bathtub and huge separate shower. Two small airy comfortable loft bedrooms can be found up a beautiful, but very narrow, wrought 'iron spiral staircase. There is a king-sized bed in one room, a double floor bed and one single pine bed in the other bedroom.
We can offer discounts on stays of longer than 2 weeks, please enquire for further details. Lets normally run from Saturday to Saturday but we can be flexible in some circumstances,. Outgoing guests are requested to leave by 10.30 am and incoming guests should please not arrive before 4.00 pm. We ask for a deposit of £50, payable in the U.K. before you depart. We will not cash this cheque unless it is necessary to deduct a charge for damages or a cleaning fee. This will be assessed on departure and your cheque or the balance returned forthwith.
The cottage has beds for 5 plus a travel cot. However, we are able to accommodate for extra numbers – there is a double bed-settee, together with extra bedding. Please contact us for further information.
Bed linen, and tea towels are provided at no extra charge.
n the Winter months the first baskets of wood are provided free of charge, subsequent baskets will be charge a nominal fee.
We ask you to leave the cottage clean and tidy for the next arrivals – to include cleaning of cooker, fridge, floors and bathroom. However, if you would like this done for you we can arrange this at a cost of £50.. If this is not arranged and we find the cottage in need of a thorough clean we will cash your £50 deposit cheque to cover the cost of this service. We must add that to date it has not been necessary to deduct any monies from any of our clients and we thank them for their respect of our cottage..
