The farmhouse has five spacious bedrooms, 1 double, 3 twin and 1 single and two shower rooms. Fully fitted kitchen and dining room. Lounge with large screen TV with TNT and DVDs. Facilities for young children - 2 cots, high chair, baby bath.

There are outdoor seating areas, by the pool, at the pool barn (for shaded sitting and eating), in the courtyard in front of the farmhouse and in the back garden of the farmhouse.

The pool is 10x5m with roman steps and a security step all round the edge. There is a lockable gate and pool alarm. Around the pool is a large paved area with loungers and shaded seating.

Ferme Christine is 5km from the market town of Pamiers for shops and restaurants. Other local towns include Mirepoix, with its medieval bastide arcades, Foix the ancient seat of the Counts of Foix with its impressive castle and Mazeres, a pleasant medieval town. The fairy tale city of Carcassonne is not to be missed and likewise the spectacular Cathar mountaintop castle of Montsegur. The area is also rich in caves with prehistoric paintings and activities such as canoeing, rafting, walking and other outdoor sports.
