White Water Rafting
If you’ve never experienced the sheer thrill of white water, now’s your chance! We kit you out in a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet then run through the basic manoeuvres on dry land before launching onto the river. The course runs a kilometre and a half, through swift rapids. This trip kicks your average theme park white knuckle rides straight into touch.
Orca
Once you have experienced the River TrYweryn in 7 man rafts, why not progress to the 2 man craft with you in control? If you are seeking thrills this will not disappoint.
Pony Trekking
Explore the wonderful North Wales countryside from the saddle on one of our Welsh Cobs known for their mild manor, perfect for novices and children. Each trip is led by a local guide who will lead you along the trails of beautiful Glyn Ceiriog near Llangollen.
Quad Bike Trek
Get to grips with the chunky 4 wheel off road bike, favoured by local farmers for their “go anywhere” capabilities. Our taster sessions include briefing, instruction and practise before giving you the freedom to ride over the 6 acre course complete with inclines, muddy areas and open area.
4x4 Off-Road Driving
A great opportunity to drive a high performance 4x4 Off Road vehicle, normally seen in the supermarket car park, the infamous Chelsea Tractor is capable of amazing manoevres. Enjoy the exhilaration of driving a 4x4 in one of the most challenging UK courses, used by many of the leading 4x4 manufactures for product launches. The venue has steep inclines, challenging cambers and water features to test your driving skills all under the guidance of our qualified instructor.
Canyoning
The adrenalin activity of the moment and one of the most exciting. We disappear into a land that time forgot..... a Jurassic park playground for big kids. Kitted up in wetsuits, helmets and buoyancy aids we descend into the gorge for a day of sliding down rock slabs, jumping into rock pools, boulder hopping, abseiling a waterfall and for the finale the 'Big Air' - a 50-foot leap into a rock pool which is very deep (you'll be glad to hear). It's a fantastic day you won't forget in a hurry.
Rock Climbing & Abseiling
One of the fasting growing activities climbing is a personal challenge and you can experience a taste of what rock climbing is all about with one of our taster sessions with a qualified instructor. Learn the basic skills and enjoy the sensation and achievement of reaching the top – then relax and take the quick route to the bottom by abseiling!
Clay Pigeon Shooting
The thrill of watching a clay shatter in flight is so overwhelming, you’ll probably miss the next one! Under the watchful eye and expert guidance of our instructor, hopefully you’ll soon be hitting far more than you miss! Using single bore guns your instructor will guide you through the basics of clay shooting. Be warned this activity is addictive.
Bushcraft
Back to the days before computers and gameboys dominated our time, when we built camps, made real fires and learned how to create stuff from odds and sods. Learn about the countryside and what it has to offer for a great group or family bonding session.
High Adventure
Enjoy this excellent and very safe 2 hour high ropes adventure journey through the trees.
You are safety harnessed and never have to unbuckle during the session.
There are 28 different elements on the course, the first of which starts close to the ground and gains in height as you continue.
Go Karting
North Wales is full of surprises, and none more than finding a top karting Championship course only 20 minutes from Bala in the backwaters of North Wales. Junior karts are available from 9 years of age and Pro Karts for adults. The fantastic 1600 metre outdoor circuit will not leave you disappointed.
