Holiday Home Description

Villa Sahara is a superb luxury villa set in a delightful garden and terrace to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The heated pool has been newly refurbished with a lovely marble surround and steps. It is secluded so that it is suitable for muslim ladies to swim.

There are four bedrooms two kingsize with ensuites and two twin rooms each with a bathroom across the corridor. One of the twin rooms is downstairs.

The kitchen and dining room with black granite worksurfaces are fully equipped. It is open plan along with the living room. Doors open out onto the pool and terrace.

The car is a seven seater Renault Logan, and the driver is always most helpful with his suggestions of where to go etc. A cleaner comes to the villa daily and on hand is also a Boab (gateman) if you need lightbulbs etc changing. We or our managers are always available on the end of the telephone (we provide a mobile phone with a local simcard) if you have any questions, advice, need anything transalating to the driver etc.

This superb location enables you to not only see the sites of Egypt but also experience the local life. The Pyramids are only 2 hours drive away, and you can also visit the Greco Roman sites of Alexandria, the war memorials of El Alamein, the colourful souks, the beautiful beaches along the North Coast, and you can even sand board down dunes!

All this lends itself for a luxury stressfree holiday.

Alexandria Area Information

King Mariout itself has many food stalls where you can buy all basic food supplies. There is a large Carrefore Hypermarket 20 minutes away where you can buy everything. There are quite a few restaurants in the King Mariout location and a wide choice if you go a little further a field. We have a beach pass for Paridise Beach in Agami. Visit the many Greco Roman sites in Alexandria - the catacombs, pompeiis pillar, Roman theatre and the villa of the birds, Fort Quaitbey, the Alexandrian Museums, the library, the beautiful gardens and Palace of Montaza. Its only 2 hours from the villa to the Pyramids. Take a trip to the Western Desert for the day or visit the war memorials of El Alamein. Dont worry about having to find all these places or driving in Egypt - included in the price is a car and driver. When you feel the need to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the busy Egyptian streets - relax by the heated pool in total seclusion, overlooking the tropical garden.
