Holiday Home Description
The Guest House, Villa Santolina, was completed in spring 2007. The Villa is south facing in an idyllic position high above the long sandy beaches of Lourdas bay with amazing views over the Ionian to the island of Zakinthos and with a backdrop of the magnificent Mount Aenos. The property has central heating and is fully air conditioned so is comfortable for a visit at any time of year. The Guest house is detached and private from the main Villa and has unrestricted use of the pool (9m x 4.5m) and garden. The 2 Bedrooms, one with 2 single beds on the ground floor and the one upstairs with a double bed have fitted wardrobes, both have good size bathrooms with shower, toilet and washbasins. Each has double doors opening onto balconies with 180° views of the Ionian. The Kitchen / Dinning area / Lounge are open plan and also have double doors leading onto a balcony the whole villa is furnished and equipped to a high standard, to make your stay enjoyable.

Fully tiled and with white toilet basins, white shower cubicle downstairs and blue tiled shower with curtain upstairs. Cupboards with mirror and light over washbasins in both bathrooms. Water is heated by oil or electricity so there is always plenty of hot water at any time of day. Heated towel rail for winter visitors.

Bedrooms have both central heating and air conditioning both have balconies with fantastic sea views en-suite bathrooms with shower toilet and wash basins, fitted wardrobes, dressing tables .Beds are Laura Ashley wrought iron with comfortable mattresses brought from UK. Each balcony has a table and 2 chairs. Hair dryers are provided and all bedlinen and towels are all changed once or twice a week according to season.
Notes:
The Villa has a good size swimming pool 9m x 4.5m and guests at the villa have unrestricted access. We have a table tennis table, small snooker/pool table. and dart board.There are many beautiful walks around Kefalonia when you stay out of high season especially in the spring when the wild flowers are at their best and we can always supply you with maps. For those who want to take it easy the villa has a wide choice of books and games. I am sorry but as the property has terracing and steps down to the pool area and garden it is unsuitable for anyone unsteady on their feet or for wheelchair access. Children over 12 are welcome but because of steps and easy access to pool area we cannot accept smaller children . Daily maid service is not provided as your privacy is respected but the villa will be cleaned twice a week.. A welcome pack of essentials will be waiting for your arrival, and a bottle of the excellent local Rombola wine will be cooling in the fridge
•For any additional weeks a 10% discount from the weekly rate can be given to all Summer Bookings ( 1st May until the end of October). A non-returnable deposit of £200 for each week is required to secure booking, with the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival date.
The rate includes central heating or air conditioning.

2012 Rental Rates will be kept at at this years prices for all bookings made before the end of August 2011
We will reluctantly have to increase our Rates for next year in the hotter weeks due to the increase in utility rates and the high cost of running air conditioners.
