Our four bedroom villa is part of the El Vergel residential development on Fuerteventura's first of two 18-hole golf courses in Caleta de Fuste ( aka Costa Caleta ) and benefits from beautiful views of the golf course and sea from the large sun roof terrace. This luxury accommodation in Fuerteventura is available to rent at excellent rates. It is able to sleep 8 in comfort and is an ideal base for one or two families to share a break in the Summer or Winter sun. It is also a perfect golf villa or accommodation in Fuerteventura for couples to share.

The villa is furnished to a very high standard throughout and features an open plan lounge and dining area with a three seater and two seater settee, dining table and chairs plus wall unit, coffee table and side table. Satellite TV, DVD player and CD music system are also provided. From the lounge there are patio doors leading directly onto the large sun terrace which overlooks the large private heated swimming pool. Free wi-fi internet access is provided.

The separate kitchen is equipped with a four ring electric hob, oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker. It is fully tiled and has granite worktops. A breakfast table and chairs is also provided. There is an outside utility area with washing machine and clothes airer. An iron and ironing board are also provided.

The master bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobes. There is also an additional TV and DVD player and CD player The en-suite bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, toilet, hand wash basin and bidet and is fully tiled with quality ceramic tiles. A hairdryer is also supplied. A safe is also fitted for additional security.

Bedrooms two and three both have two single beds with a double fitted wardrobe with drawer space. Bedroom four has two single beds and a single fitted wardrobe. The large main bathroom has a bath with overhead shower, toilet, hand washbasin and bidet and is also completely tiled.

A cot and highchair are available for infants.

The large private heated swimming pool is 11m long x 5m wide. Surrounding the pool there is a large patio table with 6 chairs. A solar shower, barbecue and sunbeds are also provided.

Stairs lead from the sun terrace up to the large roof terrace which benefits from views over the golf course to the sea.

The accommodation prices given are per villa per week (low season) for occupancy of between 1- 4 people. There is a small additional supplement for occupancy of between 5 -8 people. Due to the ever increasing number of flights to the island on different days we are able to offer a flexible changeover day.

If the stay is for more than one week a change in towels and bed linen is included. If more regular cleaning is required this can be arranged at additional cost.

A cot and highchair can be provided free of charge but we do ask that you bring your own bedding for the cot. All towels and bed linen are included in the price but we do ask that you provide your own towels for the beach and pool.

The villa is available from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 11.00 a.m. on the day of departure. If you have a late flight it may be possible to stay in the villa longer depending on new guest arrivals.

A basic welcome pack is included free of charge. On booking the villa I ask for a £100 deposit and then the balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit is required on arrival at the villa and is refunded at the end of your stay.

Caleta de Fuste Area Information

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands although it is the least developed of the four major islands. Located just 84 km off the African coast this beautiful island enjoys a year round warm climate with an average annual temperature of 25°C and boasts spectacular scenery and wonderful golden beaches.

One of the island's most popular resorts is Corralejo on the north of the island. Traditionally a fishing village there are now restaurants, bars and a few discos. There are miles of glorious sand dunes and unspoilt beaches. Here you will also find Fuerteventura's 'Baku' water park with slides to keep the children amused.

The resort of Caleta de Fuste (Castillo de Fustes on map) is located on the east of the island and is the location of our villa. Popular with English holidaymakers it has a horseshoe shaped bay with sandy beach and the shallow waters makes it ideal for families. Here there is a diving school and watersports are available. There are many restaurants, cafes, bars and shops nearby as well as fun areas for small children.

Our villas are situated on one of Caleta de Fustes two 18 hole golf courses and are just a few minutes drive from the popular family resort of Caleta de Fuste. They are only a ten minute drive from Fuerteventura's airport which makes them an ideal holiday base for all the family. Car hire is not essential but is recommended for exploring the island.

Within a 15-20 minute walk of the villas is situated "The Atlantico Centre", a large Commercial Centre with shops, restaurants, bars and a large supermarket. There is also a multi-lingual cinema, amusement arcade and bowling alley. A lagoon beach area with sunbeds is also located in front of the Commercial Centre.

The five star Elba Palace Golf Hotel is situated on the Championship Golf Course and is less than a five minute walk away from Villa Zante. The Hotel which opened in the summer of 2002 includes a bar, restaurant and outside terrace where drinks and snacks are available. At the Golf Club clubs, carts and buggies are available for hire. There is also a driving range.

Caleta de Fuste's second golf course "Salinas de Antigua" opened in December 2006. This is an 18-hole golf course with club-house and restaurant. Again buggies and golf clubs are available to hire.

Other places to visit on the island include the old fishing village of El Cotillo at the north west of the island. Costa Calma and Jandia towards the south of the island are popular with both English and German tourists. These resorts have excellent beaches and windsurfing is popular along the east coast of the island.
