Wild Ginger House is 1 km from the village of Cascalho, which has a grocery store, cafe/bar and snack bar. There is a restaurant 3 km away and 2 more within 10 minute drive. Starting right outside the front door are lovely hiking trails. Within a 10 minute drive you will find a beach, natural swimming pools and the Capelinhos volcanic area.
