Woodland Cottage forms part of a 300 year old Jersey farmhouse set in its own extensive grounds in the heart of the St Martin countryside. Features of this cottage include large rooms, beamed ceilings, original working granite fireplace and quality furnishings. This is an ideal holiday home for a family party.

It has its own garden with table and chairs and barbeque plus a large selection of indoor and outdoor games. There is a billiard room available for guests use. The house is approached down a long private drive and there is direct access to woodland walks nearby. The pretty harbour at Rozel Bay, where there are a range of quality restaurants, is just a short drive away.

The Cottage sleeps 5 people. There is a utility room on the lower ground floor. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, a large dining room and a spacious lounge with granite fireplaces at each end. On the first floor is a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, a double bedroom which can be made up as a twin, a single bedroom, a house bathroom with bath /power shower and basin and a separate toilet. High chair available on request.

Bed linen and house towels are provided. Electricity is included in the rent. Sky TV with Cartoon channel and Sky Movies Premier. DVD. Radio & CD player. Wi-Fi and modem access. Electric cooking - 4 rings plus oven. Microwave. Fridge Freezer. Dishwasher. Washing Machine. Tumble drier. Iron and Board. Central heating in season. Own entrance (there are some steps on the approach). Parking. garden. Car essential.

Location

St Martin is in the north east of the island and is a rural parish. There are many lovely quiet lanes for walking or cycling. In the village there is a pub with restaurant, a general store and a tea room beside the pretty Parish Church.
Rozel Bay is the nearest beach, but all of the north coast bays are within easy reach, so too is the bustling harbour and village at Gorey on the east coast.
Nearby, the Durrell Wildlife Conservation park is well worth a visit during your stay.
