Destination Highlights
Our Canaries Cruise adventure began in Liverpool and took us to some of the most breathtaking destinations. We first explored the vibrant streets of Funchal, Madeira, where the colourful flora and charming architecture left a lasting impression. Our next stop was La Palma, a quaint island in the Canaries known for its stunning landscapes and tranquillity. We concluded our journey in Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, before the ship continued to Fuerteventura and Morocco. Although we only experienced half the trip, every moment was filled with wonder and beauty.
Accommodation Experience
My “Freducational” experience onboard was nothing short of brilliant. The activities were thoughtfully planned, allowing for both engaging experiences and ample free time. The Balcony suites were a real treat, providing a private oasis to relax and take in the stunning sea views. The group of travel agents and hosts added to the enjoyment, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The 5-star service and friendly staff made this trip unforgettable, and I felt extremely lucky to have such a luxurious experience all to myself.

La Palma offered serene landscapes and a peaceful ambiance, perfect for relaxation. Tenerife dazzled with its bustling streets, scenic beaches, and captivating nightlife. Each destination had its own distinct character, making every port of call a delightful discovery.
Excursions and Activities
We indulged in a variety of excursions and onboard activities. Highlights included wine tasting, whale and dolphin watching, and a lively silent disco. Afternoon tea sessions, captivating shows, spa visits, and the breathtaking “above the clouds” excursion in La Palma were just a few of the experiences that made our trip so special. There was never a dull moment, and every activity was meticulously planned to enhance our enjoyment.
Culinary Delights
We were spoiled with amazing food and drink while at sea. The onboard staff provided truly excellent service, attending to our every need with friendly smiles. On the first night, we participated in a fun cocktail masterclass, followed by an exceptional dinner at the Terrace restaurant. The menu offered a range of meals (3-5 courses), with options suitable for everyone, including those with dietary requirements. Breakfast and lunch at the View buffet restaurant featured endless choices and high-quality dishes. We also enjoyed afternoon tea at the observatory, with a delightful selection of scones, cakes, and sandwiches, all while gazing out to sea through panoramic windows.
